Answers to the questions OTTO sellers and agencies ask us most often.

Why do I need Marginly when the OTTO Partner Connect already exists?

In OPC you do everything by hand: no bulk changes, no view across multiple campaigns, no alert when numbers go off the rails, no real profitability calculation with COGS and returns. As soon as you have more than a handful of campaigns or products, you click yourself to death. Marginly adds a working layer on top — for everything that no longer scales in OPC.

How does the OTTO Market connection work?

You click "Connect with OTTO" once, log in at OTTO, done. We never see your OTTO password and you can disconnect anytime yourself.

What data is synced?

Everything OTTO exposes as merchant data: campaigns, keywords, search terms, orders, returns, reporting numbers, brand data, and inventory. Your end-customer data (name, address, email) never leaves our systems and is only used internally for order analysis.

How fresh is the data?

OTTO itself updates the reporting numbers with a 1-2 day delay — that applies to every tool, including OPC itself. You see orders nearly in real time; the previous day's ad performance is in your account every morning from 6 a.m.

How much does the tool cost?

Seller plan €99/month, annual plan with two months free, agency tariff on request. All details and included limits are on the pricing page — no hidden setup fees.

How long is the free trial?

14 days, no credit card. The trial ends automatically — no silent renewal, no cancellation nerve-test. If you want to continue, you actively book a plan.

What happens to my data? Where is it hosted?

We host everything in Europe (Frankfurt and Ireland). Data is encrypted. You can request a data export or delete your account anytime — directly in the tool, no email to support required.

Where are the AI explanations processed?

Through an AI provider. We only send aggregated campaign numbers — no order data from your customers, no OTTO credentials. If you want to turn off the AI features entirely, you can do that per account in the settings.

Can I manage multiple OTTO accounts in one tool?

Yes. The account switcher is built for agencies and multi-brand merchants. Every account is cleanly separated, roles and permissions are assigned per client, and reports can be pulled per account or consolidated.

Is this officially coordinated with OTTO?

Yes. We've been an official OTTO Service Partner since 2026 and operate an official app in the OTTO Partner Portal. The integration runs through OTTO's official interfaces — no scraping, no gray zone.

How do I cancel?

Monthly plan: anytime to the end of the month, directly in your account. Annual plan: at the end of the term. Account deletion you do yourself in the tool, with a 30-day grace period — after that all data is irrevocably removed.

Is there a public API?

Not currently. An open interface for custom integrations isn't live yet but is on the roadmap. If you have a concrete use case, write to us at contact@themarketplaceguys.com — we prioritize by real demand.
